I'm wanting to coat a map with contact paper and use a dry erase marker to map out routes for my drivers. Will that work or if not any suggestions? Maybe laminate?Will dry erase marker work on clear contact paper?

My experience with soft plastics and dry erase is not good.
In a number of cases, it has become permanent or semipermanent (leaving behind a haze of color) Hard plastics like laminate seem to work. White boards are basically laminate. Plexiglas for some reason does not. Also the longer the stuff stays on the harder it is to take off. A school situation where it is erased at the end of the class is best.
