If you are in the United States, you should NOT be able to get colored contacts with a contact lens prescription that indicates a specific lens. Different lens materials have different fitting characteristics and different oxygen transmission levels. Even lenses with the same curvature from different companies, or just different materials, will fit differently. Sometimes there's a reason your eye doctor puts you into a certain lens. If you do get lenses without the exact written prescription for the colored lenses, the place you buy them is dispensing contacts against FDA guidelines, which is illegal. This could cause them to lose their business license.I currently use clear contacts. I'm thinking of ordering some colored ones. Can i use the same prescription?
you definately can... just make sure the colored ones have the same base curve and diameter as the ones you normally wear..
i haven't been able to find any colored ones the same as mine and tried buying the closest ones to them but they irritated my eyesI currently use clear contacts. I'm thinking of ordering some colored ones. Can i use the same prescription?
Yep. Some cute ones are from geolenses I don't remeber the website but you can google it.
