Blue eyes and Clear Contacts?

now what im curious is do my clear contacts make my eyes a lighter blue? because everytime i wear them it seems like people ask me if im wearing colored contacts and i always have to say no . i personaly dont notice a change but others do.Blue eyes and Clear Contacts?
As a dispensing optician I would usually say no they are clear so have no effect on your eye colour....However, I also find that my eyes are a slightly different shade of blue when I wear my contacts, somewhat lighter. I have no idea why this happens or how, but it does. I can only assume that because my contacts have a light blue handling tint on them, that maybe has something to do with it? I'm not sure. So if your contacts lenses have the same light blue handling tint on them, that could be what's causing the change.Blue eyes and Clear Contacts?
