If I use the drops more than four times per day what would the adverse side effects be? Thanks!Contact EYE DROPS -- new contact wearer -- Clear Eyes Drops directions say 4 times per day...can I do more?
clear eyes? regular old clear eyes? regular old garden-variety clear eyes cannot be used more than 4x/day and cannot be used for more than 10 consecutive days. the short term ';adverse side effects'; would be ';REBOUND HYPEREMIA';, and over the long term possible/probable corneal limbal stem cell dysfunction. do not do that.
if this is ';clear eyes for contacts'; or something that does not contain a vasoconstrictor like naphazoline or tetrahydrozoline then use it as much as you want. but i suspect you're talking about regular clear eyes, which does in fact contain potent vasoconstrictors. not intended for use with contacts AT ALL...
edit: clear eyes contact lens relief is totally fine to use as much as you want with your contacts. thanks for clarifying! good luckContact EYE DROPS -- new contact wearer -- Clear Eyes Drops directions say 4 times per day...can I do more?
I can't give you a really scientific answer... but I used to play water polo, and I used eye drops CONSTANTLY. I know they've got a limit on the bottle and all... but I always ignored it. I kept the bottle on my desk in classes - used it every 15-30 minutes maybe? I never noticed anything bad; only if I didn't put them in, I couldn't see!
