Can you mix eye drops (clear eyes) with contact solution (aqua soft)?

Recently I've been wearing my contacts a lot (because it's summer and I want to wear sunglasses instead of my regular glasses). I usually have them in from 11 am to 11 pm and by the time i take them out, my eye is a little itchy and red from the days events. (I'm a lifeguard//swim team coach). So I was wondering if I can put my contact lenses in their regular case with aqua soft contact solution, and add two drops of clear eye, eye drops to that? Is that safe? I feel like that would make my eyes more relaxed and less likely to get that burning sensation.

Yes, that might help, at least it wouldn't hurt. I've done things like that before, but sometimes it doesn't make much difference. I find that if i just keep a little bottle of eye drops with me then use them throughout the day, it helps bunches. also you can put the solution right in your eyes. but if you have the cheap non brand kind putting it right in your eyes hurts sometimes, so don't always do that.Can you mix eye drops (clear eyes) with contact solution (aqua soft)?
Put the eye drops right into the contact lens solution in your case ?

Eye drops are meant to go directly in your eyes, not to soak the lenses in.





The eye drops would be so diluted , they wouldn't have any effect, but your lenses would absorb them and probably burn a lot when you put them back on.
You must be carefull that the different solutions are compatible. If they are all made by the same company they probably are but if made by different companies they may not be and you could get a bad reaction.
I think it would make it worse. Try using the drops that they sell to put into your eyes if your contacts get dry.

that opti stuff gives me nice moist eyes! because i wear contacts too. and if you need more than that, when your eyes get a little dry furring the day just add some fo your favorite eye drops to replensh your eyes for the time being! hoped i help. i do this all the time!
