Well it all depends on the brand prescribed to you. But I would say that Sam's Club has the best prices that I have seen so far with contacts.

But when you get a contact exam, the doctor will also do an eye exam for glasses. I always recommend a contact user to have a pair of glasses as a form of back up. There may be days when you eyes are itchy or water, infected, etc. and you can not wear you contacts. Also, I recommend a pair of glasses so that every night and every other week, you can wear them so that you can let your eyes breathe.





Typically, when you have the eye exam, granted your prescription is simple, (ie no astigmatism) the doctor can give you a trial pair of contacts the same day of the exam. Make sure you do go to your follow up exam prior to filling your contact prescription. One you can let the doctor know if you have any problems with the contacts themselves and/or the prescription.
