I have recently went to the eye doctor, and they recommended me to use an eye solution called clear care. I have been using optifree replenish for years now and I personally like it. The office advised me to use clear care once a week, and I can just continue using replenish as normal. But I was wondering, have any of you used clear care once a week, and then used another solution all other times? Is that even safe for the eye? Clear care supposedly helps get more bacteria out, and that I'm suppose to soak it in case for 6 hours before use, and then I can continue on with my optifree replenish? Have any of you had any experience with this and how did it turn out? If you have, please tell me how you used it. Thank you.Clear care eye contact lenses solution question, please help!?
I haven't used a different solution from OptiFree, ever. I remember my eye doctor telling me that it's better not to switch around with the types of solutions you're using so I understand what you're getting at. Maybe you should ask him why he insists that you use Clear Care after you've used OptiFree for so long because you thought it was recommended that you don't change your solution.
I personally think that optometrists suggest their own personal preferences of certain brands of contact solution, contacts, etc. That's just my perception.
