had a bad falling out with a friend. He won't talk to me. My main way to contact him is through a mutual friend. I tell this other guy, I still cry over it months later, I still have bad dreams, and that I would like to talk with him directly, even if online.
He wouldn't hear any of it, and said I should move on.
What do I say in response? I need to get some closure with this guy for my peace of mind, and he's cutting off that possibility without even consulting with our friend. For all I know the guy in question wouldn't have a problem with it.How do I convince a friend to let me contact our friend so I can clear the air?
Why do you have to go through a mutual friend? Do you not know where this guy hangs out, or where he lives, works? Try to find out yourself where he may be and go to him directly. Then, if he snubs you himself, at least you tried.
Failing that tell this friend you need closure on this issue and if he is your friend at all, he'd understand that, and to please let you know the best way to contact this third party, so you can keep this other friend out of it as a ';Middleman';How do I convince a friend to let me contact our friend so I can clear the air?
He's the only way to contact your other friend??
I would just tell him that you have a guilty conscience and would feel much better if he knew how you felt....so ask him if he would help you out.
Stop chasing and turn back to run away...You will be chased.
