How do you clear theThe text box just above your contact list called the new Contact Search Bar?

Im not sure if anyone else is having this problem but I am . On the new yahoo messenger 7.5 there is the text box just above your contact list it is the new Contact Search Bar. I want to know how to clear it. It saves every persons screen name that messages me that isnt on my list even the bots screen name. Ok I have asked over and over to yahoo how to clear the damn thing and no one is giving me what I need they keep telling me to upgrade to 7.5 which is what I am already running. If they would take the time to read my emails instead of just writting something and sending something back they would know this ....
