How do you clear the contact seach bar on new yahoo messenger 7, mine is full of unwanted ids from chat.?

I have tried deleting chat history in c drive and programmes, and hasnt worked, everyone who has ever pm me in chat, mostly unwanted harrassment , there yahoo ids have listed themselves in the contact search bar. Its really annoying, no feature to clear it or delete ids and im ready to delete who programme at this rate and return to messenger 6 !. Any ideas appreciated.How do you clear the contact seach bar on new yahoo messenger 7, mine is full of unwanted ids from chat.?
I figured it out:





1. Sign out of Messenger.


2. Open this folder: C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Cache


3. Find the file that ends with ';.conversationhistory';.


(Note there might be more than one; there will be one for each ID that has signed into this computer. You can repeat the steps below for each file.)


4. Right-click on the file and choose ';Edit'; (open the file in Notepad).


5. Select All (Ctrl+A), then Delete.


6. Save the file (Ctrl+S), then close it.


7. Right click the file again and choose ';Properties';


8. Click the ';Read only'; check box so it is checked.

It worked! Thank you! Only different thing I did, was type .contacthistory in search and there were two other ones that did not come up the first time I looked. Deleting them too, cleared it!
