How come my clear contacts make my eyes bluer?

I just got contacts yesterday. They are clear but they make my eyes bluer. My eyes are already blue, the contacts just make them a little bit, more blue.How come my clear contacts make my eyes bluer?

Your clear contacts should not make your eyes appear bluer. Is it possible that you are seeing your eyes more clearly now and actually see the real color.


There is a possibility that the blue handling tint with most clear lenses is accentuating your eyes, however, this is not common.
