Customer service is when customers are polite, friendly and use clear eye contact with the customer and calm.?
I'm sorry to say this but your question doesn't actually make sense
I work withing Customer Services, and the true defenition of Customer Service is rising up and beyond going out of your way to help your customer, and ultimately doing whatever you can in your power to provide them excellent customer service. It involves mannerisms and body language which they will comfort to, and in doing so you are contributing to their experience.
Customer service is usually the service that a store provides when a customer comes back with complaints. It could be in person, but it could also be a phone line, or even by e-mail.
Often, the people that do customer support are not even the same people that work on the sales floor.
The things you mention are all important.
- listen to the problem
- stay clam, friendly, polite
- don麓t argue, work towards a solution. Sometimes you have to tell a customer 麓no麓, but even then be polite and understanding.
customer service is when the member of staff is helpful ,polite, friendly .the customer could be rude but staying calm and tying to solve the customers problem helps.
If you were to post a QUESTION you might get an intelligent ANSWER. Until you do, you won't !!!
No. Customer service is under-paid, under valued employees deployed by a money making organisation to shield those making the money from the mostly irate customers they are making it from.
However well trained and however polite, this is all it really comes down to. Most of time if business owner or manager did this job they would be assaulted, they hope by putting a young girl in the job, that they don't even have to hear the 'flack'.
Now do I sound bitter or do I sound bitter?
What is your question? That is a statement.
Customers who feel the need to speak to customer service are rarely polite, friendly and calm in my experience.
