some one told me that, but it doesn't make sense...
i mean, how does that work?
i have clear ones currently, and i'm thinking of getting coloured. Is it true that coloured contacts are harder to put in than clear?
They r both contacts so i don't see y its harder.
Is it true that coloured contacts are harder to put in than clear?
i didn't see a difference in putting them in. It was just easier to find the colored one if i dropped it or something.

Clear vision in the day without wearing any contact lens.?
im interested in the contact lens which are used in the night when we are sleeping.when we remove our lens we will be able to have clear vision for the whole day.how true is that?any cons for wearing that type of lens?Clear vision in the day without wearing any contact lens.?
Debbie.........Dont count on it. You have fallen prey to an advertising scam. There are no magic cures for eyesight. If you want to correct your vision problems your choices are:
Glasses, Contacts ( and only when your eyes are open ), surgery. There is no magic lens that heals your eyesight during the night while you sleep. They do offer contact lenses that you can sleep in, but the side effects are not worth the risk. Your eyes need O2, and contact lenses cut off the supply of oxygen. If you must wear contact lenses, I recommend the extended wear contacts. You remove them daily. I have heard of a surgery called Crystalens. That envolves the removal of the eye's natural lens, and then a corrective lens in put into place. It completely eliminates the worries of cataracts, but then again, you do have someone digging around in your eye.

When I decided to get contact lens I considered those type lens but decided against them because one of my friends use them and she said it hurts like hell and sometimes her eyes bleed! I dont know how true that is, maybe she was exaggerating, but I decided against having those. Also consider that this is still a very new type of technology, and who knows what type of long-term effects that they will have on your eyes when you're 80?
Do you have ordinary contact lens now? Because if you do, seriously I would stick with them. Mine at least dont bother my eyes at all and although taking them off and on is a bit of bother, there are types of contact lens that claims that you can wear it overnight. I have that type, it's called Night and Day and it's made by a company called Ciba Vision. However when I bought them they recommended they you still dont wear them for over 12 hours.
Its your choice. You should probably talk to your optician about this, (s)he will be able to give you more information.
Why not just find a way to restore your vision so you don't need contacts
I personally know of 2 ways the friends and family have improved there vision
1. Improve Your Vision With Eye Exercises
http://www.tossyourglasses.com/
2. Proper nutrition %26amp; antioxidants

This is a way cheaper and safer for you than laser eye surgery.
Its great my wife now has perfect vision and doesn't have to bother with contacts %26amp; wearing eye glasses anymore

How is it legal (In the US) to have a phone book with everyones contact info? Isn't that a clear violation of
the right to privacy? I can't believe that this is actually allowed.
I know your allowed to block your # (and info) but it costs money which I'm not sure how that's legal. There is no way someone should have the right to infringe on your privacy in the most open manner. I think the most legal and fair way to make this constitutional would be to send everyone in the phone book a letter and only if they sign and agree to have there info should there info be included. That should show the phone book companies how much names will be gone. It just seems there taking advantage of ordinary people who don't know the constitution or any rights they have.
P.S. Out of Curiosity why do people want there info in the phone book. If it's not a business (that would be the yellow pages), your info should be known by friends/family and others. People who just get your # out of a phone book are probably not those you would want to be called by. Is that right? How is it legal (In the US) to have a phone book with everyones contact info? As others have pointed out, being listed in the phone book is optional. Meanwhile, your phone number is not really regarded as confidential and protected information. Neither is your address.
The reason I have my name and address listed in the phone book is because I move around a lot and I don't always remember to notify every person I know. If any friends have lost my number, I want them to be able to find me.
For the issue to go to the Supreme Court, you would need to file a lawsuit and lose your case in the lower courts so you can appeal it up to the Supreme Court. They would need to agree to hear your appeal. This would require that you have some Constitutional issue upon which you base your case. What clause in the Constitution exactly would you base your argument on? I don't see anything in the Constitution that comes close to granting you the right to keep your number and address private. How is it legal (In the US) to have a phone book with everyones contact info? Your listing in the book is voluntary. When you sign up for phone service you can ask to be ';unlisted.'; Also, they ask you if you wish to be in the book, and how you wish to be listed, ex= many single women wish to be identified by their initials only.
All you have to do is ask for an unlisted number and then no one can get it and that is free.
There is no consitutional right to privacy.
No one requires you to have a phone at all. If you voluntarily agree to have a phone, the agreement is with a private company, not with the government. As such, you and the company can agree to whatever coditions you wish. If the company say that they will publish your name and number unless you pay extra, you are free to decide not to have a phone. The constitution limits government action, not the private company. If it did apply to private companies, you would notice that is has no explicit right to privacy.

You are asking about something called ';diplomatic asylum';. It is extremely rare -- the last time it happened in Europe was with Cardinal Mindszenty in the US Embassy in Budapest, where he lived for 15 years from 1956-71.
Other than that, it has been granted and honored by the host government mostly in Latin America.
It is to be distinguished from kidnappings by embassies and the shipment of the kidnapped persons out of the country in crates or by speedboat. The Nigerians have tried it in Britain (and been caught); the Israelis succeeded in Italy (with Mordecha茂 Vanunu).
Don't count on embassies accepting you. They are more likely to call the local police and have you removed, if you don't leave quietly. Can I contact an embassy in my state (republic) to ask for aseulysm?please,be concise and very clear...thanks!
do you mean Asylum? You need to talk to the embassy/government of your chosen country for starter.
What is the Radio Carbon Dating for? Thats not much use on recent items, usually reserved for archaeological objects, and its expensive, at least 拢600 a go typically. What exactly did you want C14 dating and why??
Yes.
Do it immediately
You will avoid trouble.
Try the French, German, Danish, Netherlands or Belgian embassy nearest you, they are fairly lax on immigration and may be able to help you. If you come from one of their former colonies, your chances are even better.
Could you rewrite the whole thing again it doesn't make on bit of sense what you have wrote there.

Why do i see blurry with my colored contacts if i see perfectly fine with my clear ones?
Three weeks ago i got clear contacts %26amp; the first 2-3 days i saw really blurry, but by now i was seeing perfect. But i just got color ones %26amp; i'm seeing really blurry again. Will that go away in a few days too or is that not normal? Maybe they're in backwards but i cant tell because my clear ones have letters to make sure they're in right but my color ones dont. How can i tell if my color ones are in backwards? They told me that if they look like a bowl they're in right, but i dont see a difference no matter what way i flip them! Please help me!Why do i see blurry with my colored contacts if i see perfectly fine with my clear ones?
Mine did that to when I first got them. It is because they are new and slipping on your eyes. When they move too far you see through the color and get a blurry visual. It will adjust. Every time you go from clear to colored it will probably do that because your eyes are trying to adjust to the way they have to work with a colored lens in.Why do i see blurry with my colored contacts if i see perfectly fine with my clear ones?
It's the wrong prescription.
The color doesn't fit your true aura. Try a different color. Good Luck ! :)
I was going to say, maybe poor quality. Are they the same type as your clear ones? Are they the correct prescription??
You could take them back to where you got them. Never be afraid to return something if it isn't working like it is supposed to. Keep ALL receipts.
the same thing happened to my friend. he just can't wear them.loan

Colored contacts or Clear contacts?
My parents are finally letting me contacts, because glasses just aren't working out well for me anymore.
And I was wondering if colored contacts cost more than regular ones,
and if the prescription for regular ones would work with colored also. Plus I also wanted to know if I could get a mixture of both colored and clear, would that cost tons of money? Or would it be the same cost like if I was only getting one.
Thanks in advance !Colored contacts or Clear contacts?
Colored contacts cost more than regular contacts. The prescription is the same for both. I do not know if insurance covers colored contacts so you would have to pay for them out of pocket. The are at least 10 dollars more a box. Depending on the color they can take a little while to get used to. I have brown eyes and got the bright blue contacts and it was a little difficult to see through them for the first couple days. I had green ones and they were no different to look through. Each box comes with six contacts. If your eyes are two different strengths then you would have enough for six months.Colored contacts or Clear contacts?
my contacts cost like 50 dollars and i have clear so if you wanted a mixture it would be probably like 125 or something i would say do that so you can try both but if you can only afford one get clear first then colored.
colored cost more
yeah the prescription would work for both that is if you get the same prescription on both x)
You probably could get a mixture I guess would have to ask
not sure about the cost of that
Colored; they're so pretty.
regular ones
colored to cost more, but they look kickass. Just go with clear.
